Maité Fuentes Newby was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Following her high school graduation, she pursued her undergraduate education at SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) in Savannah, GA, USA. Later on, she continued her studies at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York City, USA.

With over two decades of experience in assisting, guiding, and advising her friends and acquaintances on makeup techniques, product selections, fashion styling, wardrobe organizing, and overall image enhancement, Maité has finally decided to extend her expertise to the broader public, encouraged by all the requests from extended friends.
